William Chignola

Bill has been an attorney for over thirty years specializing in Business, Commercial Real Estate, and Employment litigation. Bill is an experienced litigator and previously worked for over a decade as the general counsel for a private equity real estate fund in Boston.

Bill has had a successful career, obtaining favorable results in cases related to breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, and the false claims act. He has also represented clients in numerous mediations and arbitrations. From litigating ERISA cases at the Federal court level to incorporating businesses, setting up LLC’s, and drafting employment contracts and operating agreements, Bill has a wide range of experience.

His expertise in employment litigation involves discrimination, sexual harassment, non-payment of wages, employment contracts, severance agreements, termination agreements, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements. Bill has worked on files involving the FMLA, ADA, Title VII matters.

Bill was born in Quincy MA and raised in Framingham MA. He graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in political science and English Literature. Bill received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from New England Law School of law. Bill enjoys golf, watching football and baseball, and going to the gym. He coached little league and senior league baseball and youth soccer.
