Tracy Moran

Counsel

Tracy is a commercial litigator with over 20 years’ experience in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  Her wide-ranging practice areas include business and contract disputes, insurance and reinsurance matters, intellectual property, wage and hour claims, false claims act, and usury and other collections matters.  Significant matters include the representation of the owner of a major residential and commercial development in its receivership, litigation of claims of various Lloyd’s syndicates against its reinsurer, and the successful defense of a family-owned business in an action alleging violation of the false claims act.  Tracy recognizes that most business of commercial organizations is business, not litigation, so she is focused on providing representation that fits with the goals of the client to minimize disruptions to operations.

Tracy is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Michigan Law School.  She is a member of the Board of Canvassers in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, the Duke Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee, and the St. Gregory the Great Music Ministry.  In her free time, she enjoys travel, theater, and college basketball.
